Instructor

A native of Russia, Ms. Krein was born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). She holds an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Tampa and a B.A. in human services from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. An active member of the local community, Jenya Krein served at the Office of Multicultural Health, Massachusetts Department of Public Health. As Community Connections Program Director funded by the Department of State, she worked in cultural exchange, providing homestay and internships for visiting professionals. As Russian Program Director at Brighton house, Ms. Krein served the local Russian community and facilitated access to services and healthcare for Russian seniors. Presently, she consults on cultural issues, teaches, provides instructions on a variety of subjects pertaining to language, interpreting, translation, and creative writing, and works as a Video Remote Interpreter.
